Your data, your music

Privacy for the beta

How Raw Code SAC handles information in the SPOOL Mix iOS beta, this website, and support requests.

Responsible entity and contact

RAW CODE S.A.C. · Peruvian tax ID (RUC) 20614132206. Registered address: Calle Las Gaviotas 117, Apt. 201, Urb. Limatambo, Surquillo, Lima, Peru. For privacy or support questions, email jvela@rawcode.pe.

Music data and purpose

With your permission, SPOOL Mix uses MusicKit to access songs, playlists, and metadata in your Apple Music library. Titles, artists, albums, genres, and playlist signals help prepare mixes and play the music you choose. Recommendations and children's-content detection run on your device. That detection can be wrong and supports local corrections.

The app stores preferences, blocked items, manual corrections, musical interactions, statistics, and the metadata needed to recover a playback session locally. This analysis does not store audio files or send your library, preferences, or statistics to a SPOOL Mix server or an artificial intelligence provider.

Apple services and beta

Library access, catalog searches, artwork, and playback use Apple services. If you request a playlist export, it writes to your Apple Music library; recommending songs does not automatically create saved playlists.

This SPOOL Mix beta does not enable its own purchases or subscriptions; SPOOL Plus is not available for now. Apple Music access depends on your service with Apple. TestFlight and iOS may handle diagnostics and feedback according to your options and Apple's privacy policy.

The beta does not integrate advertising networks or its own remote analytics. We do not use or sell your music data for advertising tracking.

Retention and control

Preferences, corrections, and statistics remain in the local container until changed or deleted. The session can be regenerated and expires locally; different categories may have different retention periods. You can remove corrections in the app and revoke music permission in iOS Settings. Revoking access does not itself delete locally stored data.

The app does not yet offer a single control to export or erase all its data. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it while keeping documents, removes its local container according to iOS behavior. This does not delete your Apple Music library, purchases, or possible system backups.

Website hosting

Vercel hosts this website. When you visit, it can process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and access time, to deliver and secure the site. Protected previews may also use Vercel authentication. Vercel Inc. may process this technical data in the United States and in its service providers' locations. See its privacy notice and information about processing on behalf of customers in its data processing addendum. The site does not add advertising trackers or its own audience analytics.

Support emails

If you email us, Raw Code SAC receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send to respond to and manage your request. We use Zoho Mail to receive, store, and manage these emails. Zoho and its providers may process this information outside Peru, according to our account's region and the service terms. See Part II of Zoho's privacy policy. Contacting us is optional; without the necessary information, we may be unable to respond to your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or your music library.

We retain emails while handling and following up on your request, and afterwards when needed to address applicable liabilities or legal obligations. The retention period depends on the request and those obligations. You may request deletion at jvela@rawcode.pe; we will assess your request and any applicable retention requirements.

Questions and requests

For privacy questions or to request access to, correction, updating, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to processing or withdraw consent where applicable, email jvela@rawcode.pe. We may need to verify your identity and the scope of your request. We will handle it in accordance with applicable law. Music data stored only in the app stays on your device; we cannot retrieve or erase it remotely.
